Jesus Christ established the Church on earth to continue His mission of reconciliation in the world for all ages. Before His Ascension into heaven, He gave the following command to the Eleven: "All power on heaven and earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." With these words, the divine power to transform the fallen world has been given to the Church. Furthermore, we see how closely related is this transformation to the ministry of teaching.
With this in mind, we are reminded that Cedar Catholic Jr./Sr. High School is more than any ordinary school: Cedar Catholic is an extension of the Church herself. Our school is on the front lines of forming new disciples according to the mandate of Jesus Christ. Our hope is that these disciples live their faith beyond our school walls and into the future.
Thank you for visiting us via this website. We hope that it will give you a greater sense of who we are at Cedar Catholic as we strive to teach the Good News in Northeast Nebraska. If you are a visitor to our school we welcome you and hope you will visit us in person someday. If you are a member of our school family, we hope that this site will keep you better connected.
Sincerely,
Reverend Jeffery S. Loseke, S.T.L.
President
