Within the limits of its capabilities, Cedar Catholic Junior/Senior High School offers a broad range of course selections. The aim is to provide a course of study suited to individual students’ abilities and to prepare them for the future.

With the recommendation of the Board of Education Cedar Catholic Junior/Senior High School requires that a student earn a minimum of 280 hours for graduation. This minimum requirement of 280 hours includes 195 required hours:


THEOLOGY: 40 hours to include: Theology I, II, III, and IV
ENGLISH: 40 hours to include: English I, II, III, and IV
SOCIAL SCIENCES: 30 hours to include: Geography of World Affairs, American History, and Government
MATH: 30 hours to include: Algebra I, Geometry, and one elective course
SCIENCE: 30 hours to include: Physical Science, Biology, and one elective course
SPANISH: 10 hours to include: Spanish I
PHYSICAL ED.: 10 hours to include: Physical Education, Health, or Strength Training
SPEECH: 5 hours to include: Speech

COMPOSITION: 5 hours to include: Composition
