2026 President's Appeal Mission
"You can make in impact..."
This Cedar Catholic President’s letter is an invitation to you to make a difference in the day to day school life of Cedar Catholic students. An annual gift assists the weekly, monthly, or fiscal year budget for the costs of Catholic education. Supporting Cedar’s annual appeal is a way of helping “put spiritual and academic food on the table” for our Catholic high school. Thank you for your generosity to assist forming future disciples and leadership.

- Teacher salaries and benefit increases.
- On-going costs for academic advancement.
- More provisions for faculty and staff professional development programs and services.
- Rising costs of transportation needs. (School and activity bus expenses.)
- Technology updates in classrooms, for teachers, and our websites

Cedar Catholic Mission Motivators:
- Providing a holistic education that nurtures body, mind, and soul
- Offering rigorous academics integrated with Catholic values and morals to form students spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially
- Ensuring all students participate in the Living the Faith program, which includes:
- Discipleship groups
- Regular religion classes
- Weekly and special Masses
- Opportunities to serve as cantors, lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and servers
- Daily classroom prayer
- Required parish, school, and community service hours each semester
- Class religious retreats
- Advent service projects within and beyond the community
- Hosting an annual Youth Rally for elementary Catholic schools
- Recognizing academic achievement each semester, with 95% of 7–12 students earning Honor Roll or Merit Roll this year.
- Celebrating record ACT performance—over the past eight years, graduating classes have earned six of the highest average ACT scores in school history, including 5 scores of 30 or better and 8 additional scores in the 25–29 range. 9 of these seniors earned a spot on the Mid-State Conference Academic Team.
- College credit courses offered through Northeast Community College provide early college opportunities to high school students. Cedar Catholic students are enrolled in a total of 228 Dual Credit classes during the 2025-2026 school year.
- Continuing a strong tradition of success in extracurricular activities, including fine arts, music, and athletics. 98% of CCHS students are involved in at least one extra-curricular activity this year.
